The timeline roughly goes like this: Last Crew announced a beta in December 2022, however they later released a statement about how they couldn't reach the level they wanted for the beta because their funds were running out and so their team got downsized (and because of COVID making things harder). After that, they seemed to continue working on the game because they released birthday videos as planned until they went radio silent after one more round of birthdays in 2023, which took them to Qi Lin's birthday in February 2024.

Everyone thought Last Crew was dead and cancelled until Last Crew suddenly popped up with the reunion videos (these unvoiced birthday videos), starting with Coin in April 2025. So, if anything is going to happen or another announcement is going to be made, I think we have to wait for them to finish this round of birthdays, which means Emo being the last one on March 14.

I wonder if you can fill me in what's the current situation with tlc just keep posting 15 seconds unvoiced birthday video? Been seeing all these.... quirky updates on their weibo, I'm not that update with tlc nowadays since they no longer post any music/audio drama tracks.

Like, are they on limit budget? But that won't explain they're still trying to push up their reputation somewhere with birthday videos without a fix goal for almost 3 years since beta test. I'm kind of glad they still updating, but the silence is so loud. I'm ready to move on if they decided to drop the game entirely, but I hope they keep creating the audio tracks & musics :((
