Hrm, I don't see any differences and, from my experience, there seems to be an equal amount of solo and multi stans globally or in Asian spaces. One thing that may be causing your question though is that Western spaces seem less used to gacha, while Japanese and Chinese players understand and accept these gacha systems. So, I feel like you see less complaints in Japanese and Chinese communities about not being able to keep up as F2P or wanting more ways to earn pull currency, because they either spend that money or they become pickier in what they choose to pull.

I still remember my utter confusion at seeing people in the Love and Deepspace community demand that birthday cards should be free because you're celebrating the man's birthday. That attitude is practically a 180 from how Asian fans rent billboards and malls to celebrate their men's birthdays LOL.

This came up when discussing otome fandom in comparison to other fandoms with a friend, you know how in Asia, particularly Korea, China and Japan it's more common to find solo stans while in western spaces fans are usually "multi" stans, so I was wondering...is the same thing valid for otome games? Many western fans complain they can't keep up being f2p or low spenders etc. but if you mainly focus on 1 LI it should be super easy to save and get everything of that character, no? I just wonder, thanks!
