Huh, what Big 6? There's only 5 large CN otome games LOL. I'm still traumatized from all the psychic damage I suffered during that tweet about general categories for the men, so Love and Deepspace isn't allowed to play with the rest of the games anymore.

LOVE AND PRODUCER. Unquestionably Xu Mo and his heroine. You can't get any more on opposite sides than these two, both philosophically and at times literally. There's a lot of push and pull between these two.

FOR ALL TIME. I consulted Lily and her answer was Ye Xuan, because he's the same man throughout all the worlds and with the Empire at first. It's a complicated relationship and, even if he and Little Painter are on the same side now, there's a lot of conflicts.

LIGHT AND NIGHT. Evan and his heroine, without a doubt LOL. They're philosophically opposed and even if Evan's goals are understandable, and even sympathetic, his methods leave much to be desired.

The last two games are together in their own space because, by nature, the men are on the same side as their heroine or live for their heroine, so it's hard to call any of their relationships "bumpy" by your definition. Still though, if I had to choose someone, I would pick these two.

TEARS OF THEMIS. Xia Yan, because the other men are more independent in that they can control what they do with their authority. As someone who works for the government, Xia Yan could potentially receive orders that put him into conflict with what NXX is doing.

BEYOND THE WORLD. Yi Yu, because he can be just a little too intense at times LOL. Ultimately, this man will always serve the heroine but he walks on the knife's edge of obsession and possessiveness and sometimes this leads to him taking actions that could ruin the heroine's mission and keep her trapped in his world.

Of course understanding that they’re still love interests at the end of the day. I was gonna say most angsty but I mean the specific type where we’re on opposing sides vs like terminal illness angst you know? Partially self indulgent ask since I love when they stress me out 😻
