Finally, I have the energy and am annoyed enough (because the straw broke the camel's back) to reply to this. I am nodding vehemently and agreeing with you.

Love and Deepspace's community fired the first shot—and the next 10 shots—and now they're reaping what they sowed. If someone was silent when their community was being disrespectful and rude, thinking that those were just fringe crazies, then they don't have the right to say anything when other communities have had enough and start attacking their game.

I don't have patience for that moral high horse bullshit about double standards when other communities have endured all the blind disrespect to their games and their attacks at Love and Deepspace come from places with solid criticism or experience in the otome game market, although depending on the person some of these arguments may be worded poorly, but the LaDS community has their heads so far up their game's ass that, even now in calls for "peace", they still reek of arrogance and superiority and cannot accept any criticism towards their game.

It really makes me laugh dryly that only now when their beloved game is being attacked too close to home that some people want to stand out and be like "Woah, woah, everyone let's all get along". No, if you never said anything before when your community was spitting at all the other games, then you sit down and shut up because this isn't your fight anymore.

Like you've mentioned about Love and Deepspace's size and popularity, any attacks towards the game are essentially punching up LOL. Not all Love and Deepspace players? Sure, then shut up and don't get involved. But there are 500+ more LaDS players doing meal replacement, calling other games "2D slop", and plagiarizing the art and assets of other games. Everyone has had enough and every day I see more and more people in other communities banning Love and Deepspace players from participating in their giveaways or straight up not wanting to interact with LaDS players.

"All fandoms are equally toxic" - oh yes, an Arknights player calling me a noob for not knowing Tower Defense mechanic is definitely the exact same as LaDs player's constant harassment over a pseudo taboo trope that barely looks problematic at all except for the "coded" part and the constant meal replacement to the point of disrespecting the artists and even expects respect over their rude behaviors

"Don't generalize X because that's unfair when we saw Z and Y harassing X too!" - Statistics from many other people's experience proved it otherwise. 10 harassers vs 500+ harassers is vastly differently ratio that cannot be just put in simple means. Plus, most of them are like, semi fans of those LIs when they try to point out those people, lol
