I don't think there's a step by step guide out there, but you shouldn't have to link your CN Apple account to WeChat. When you're buying things in the game it should automatically access your Apple account funds first, if you have any. I answered this in a previous ask, but for iOS your options are topping up your CN Apple account or topping up your WeChat Pay.

I've tried linking my CN Apple account to WeChat but it doesn't work, maybe because I'm outside of China.
