If you don't want to be spoiled in the events and dates, then the safest action is to read everything in release order (events and main story). Calling them main story counterparts is not... exactly right, because the main story and date timelines are the same men. So, whatever you experience in the events and dates will be brought into the main story and vice versa; these two timelines keep apace with each other.

 but I also want to read the event stories as well I was worried on getting spoiled since it will reference the men main story counterparts in some way. it it better to read event stories in release order? thank u
