Unsurprisingly, people are making mistaken correlations. Love and Deepspace announced pre-release that Qin Che and Xia Yizhou were going to appear down the pipeline, so everything they've done is just them fulfilling their promise and meeting their goal of what the game should have looked like from the beginning if they had greater production capabilities, funding, etc. The fact that the introduction of both characters brought toxic new blood into the game is just a coincidence, not something that Love and Deepspace was banking on. So, everyone else thinking that other CN mobile otome games should pull a new love interest out of nowhere 4-5 years later is delusional LOL.

No one wants to learn from history and information transfer is absolute ass in the otome community, so I'm too tired to bring up Ling Xiao ever again and how Qin Che and Xia Yizhou are not missing content. These two were released with all the content that belongs to them and this is something everyone must live with if they're going to continue playing that game.

So Hoyofest officially revealed to have dropped Themis this year 😐 and in one of the threads, there was a pg stan (with a QC pfp of course to top it off) suggesting themis add a new LI so its sales can go up...nearly a half-a-decade old game adding a new LI to the pool...HAHAHAHAHHAHA 

of fucking course it's a pg stan. I'm pretty sure they played lovepro, so I'm just ????? why they would suggest it. Although the younger sibling did get an explosion of popularity with each LI added, but even then, that fandom is so kpop-ified that there's constant infighting between their own game
