I'll talk about the gacha system overall, since there's so much misinformation flying around right now. First, to calculate the price of anything, you need to convert everything to a common denominator (this is how you can do accurate comparisons across games too because if I hear another person say Light and Night is expensive since 1 pull is 300 ursas I'm going to send a demon into their dreams to force them into remedial math).

Second, the currencies in Light and Night can be converted like this:

2 polaris = 6 RMB = 1 polaris/3 RMB1 polaris (3 RMB) = 50 ursas = 16.66 ursas/1 RMB

So, if you do not buy any packs and are spending directly on pulls, then:

300 ursas = 1 pull = 18 RMB3000 ursas = 10 pull = 180 RMB

You can now compare how good the packs are with this number.

Light and Night operates on an exchange, soft pity, and hard pity system. Every card (except roulette cards) can be exchanged with bookmarks that you get for every pull.

6* cards are 180 bookmarks5* cards are 80 bookmarks

SOFT PITY. The base chance to get any 6* is 2% and starting at 60 pulls you get 10% added to your next pull. For example:

61 pulls = 12% chance62 pulls = 22% chance63 pulls = 32% chance…70 pulls = 102% chance (this is the HARD PITY)

The soft pity resets whenever you get a 6* card.

During solo banners, the limited cards have 50% rate up, but they include the standard pool with all the permanent 6* cards (which consists of cards at release and main story and personal route cards that get added into the standard pool at the next main story update). NOTE FOR NEW PLAYERS: I don't recommend pulling in the standard pool because of this; you will always have a chance to pull get spooked by the standard cards in any banner, so just wait patiently LOL.

During 5-man banners, the system is essentially the same with some benefits. However, they use limited bookmarks that will turn into regular bookmarks after the event. (Your pity and event pull items carry over to the re-run, but honestly I think it's better to use them up and let them turn into regular bookmarks.)
