If someone says their feelings are hurt, the burden of proof does not lie on the victim to prove their pain. Not to mention, many people have tried to explain why meal replacement is rude by appealing to reason, by appealing to emotions, by using analogies, by asking you to imagine being in the same situation with your beloved characters, by showing how artists themselves don't like it, etc. The fact that none of you people ever address those points and just fall back to this fuckass point of "It's not serious" and "We're just having fun" shows that you're utterly incapable of empathy and that you're a callous person.

You're right, meal replacement isn't serious, this whole thing with pixels isn't serious, which is why every single time a Love and Deepspace player weighs that their fun is more deserving of being had, even at the expense of another person's fun and feelings, is a damning show of their moral character and casual cruelty.

Everyone seems to be under the misconception that these "freak outs" happened overnight instead of being the last straw for many fandoms over the entire lifespan of Love and Deepspace. All of this has been going on for one and a half fucking years. It's because every polite explanation about meal replacement and how it's rude to QRT and redirect the conversation and attention away from the source media has been met with "It's not that serious" that people have lost their patience.

Are you cherry-picking anecdotes? Because I can do that too and find LaDS players that freak out if you compare their men with others, just look at the infighting that goes on 24/7 in their own community. But also, have you ever had a conversation before? Because it's very obvious when someone doesn't leave an opening to talk about the character who has been replaced. If someone says "how zayne and me are gonna end up if he keeps looking so hot and fuckable", you really think a conversation can be had by going "That's actually Osborn by the way and he's definitely someone with high libido because he's an adrenaline junkie who loves teasing you"? That would be a KY person speaking to another KY person.

In fact, in the spirit of good faith, a friend put your "advice" into practice and got completely ignored. Now, it's your turn to put some empathy into practice.

Love and Deepspace players have been shitting on 2D games ever since their game released so, let's be real, the majority of comments on other media carries an inherent insult because none of these people show any curiosity about the media they're using for meal replacement. Just go through my perch and see how many people have encountered LaDS players mocking their 2D games, myself included. The superiority complex is off the charts. Look at this shit, bro. Not all LaDS players? Well, unfortunately, the "toxic minority" has gotten so bad that LaDS players who want to set themselves apart have to make efforts to do so then.

Meal replacement thing is such an unserious issue lol. I'm saying lads fandom isn't filled with bunch of annoying people but this one is least of the offenses they done, most otome game characters look like one another except few differences here & there, & lads isn't exclusive of that either but I never seen lads fans freak out like other otome fandom does if anyone compare their favorite guy with some another character they have no idea of. Usually they vibe along & share why they should try their game if they think one of the dudes reminds them of one of their favorite characters from another media. It's not a big deal as compard to how yall crash out, unless someone insult your characters theres no need to be mean instead why not use it as excuse to yap about them so people get to know them better.
