Vaguely, because are there two of them out there using AI in the responses? Plusmate from EROLABS and Plus Mate from KHproject? LOL.

I'm a massive hater of generative AI in the creative industry though, so I don't have any nice thoughts about this. Ultimately, to each their own, but it's so soulless to chat to a bot on character.ai, which is what all of these are at their core. I've seen a couple similar apps pop up in CN spaces too, but fortunately it looks like they got greedy after the initial wave of interest and have lost all their users after inundating their apps with ads and restrictions unless you're a paid user.

As I've mentioned here and there, I'm the type of writer who can't create anything without a point or something I'm trying to convey, whether that be an emotion, idea, or concept. This makes me gravitate towards similar creators and why games that are heavy on the "simulator" side can't hold my interest.

AI-generated responses are just a machine vomiting out words in a statistically probable combination that is statistically seen in response to the combination of words I used and that's so depressing. I would rather have no options or just 2 options and let myself be taken on a journey of what the creator wanted to convey to me through their choice of giving me options or not giving me options in their game. In short, I want the human connection through art and, yes, this applies to my otome games too.
