All the other worlds have real, living, breathing people, it's just for the sake of the player's mentality, especially since they have those systems, they regard the people they meet as "characters (or NPCs)" in the world. It's been 1.5 years since I last played Beyond the World, so my memory might be blurry, but I thought there was a mention about how the worlds are real worlds with their own history and whatnot and you're basically "visiting" them when the system sends you there with a mission.

So, technically, there's no "real" version of the men because they're all real. However, because the heroine comes from her modern world, she views that world as being her real world and so the men there are referred to as the "reality counterpart".

hi!! i’m dropping in because i have something to ask about BTW since i’m very new to the game. sorry if this question is really stupid but if the men we meet in the other world are supposed to be “characters”, then in the “back to reality”/mc’s real world, who are those men😭😭😭 like is that the “real” ones? and the “characters” are their avatars or something
