Aw, you're very welcome and I actually spoke about this before, but I don't believe in there being a ridiculous or embarrassing reason to learn a language. If wanting to play Chinese otome games is what motivated you (and still motivates you) to learn Chinese, then more power to you! Just the sheer initiative of being curious about another culture and wanting to learn about said culture is admirable.

Doropyan is the person I always talk about who creates threads on Beyond the World! She also wrote a very in-depth guide about verifying for Chinese mobile games and, luckily, NetEase is actually one of the easier ones. It's definitely much easier than Tencent's WeChat LOL.

First of all, I would like to finally thank you directly for all the hard work and effort you have put into translating the L&N. I am not good with words, but there is so much gratitude in my heart its overspilling sometimes. Even though I have tried many times to access the game, the verification just completely defeated me. And I did go as far as to intensively study mandarin chinese specifically for this reason (down bad? maybe. kinda ridiculous and a shameful reason to start, embarassing to think about, but its okay to laugh now. To be fair, very quickly it turned into a deep and profound fascination, and I found myself completely captivated by the beauty of the language and the culture). Please bear with me for just a minute longer now, and let me get to the point, though I really do not want to come off as demanding of your time and attention. Now, regarding the actual question, I have seen you tweet on X some time ago a chinese creator posting "Beyond the world" content, and I wanted to ask their name, so that i could have a taste of the game's lore even if I fail to understand the verification process, or simply do not pass, as a non-chinese resident, and furthermore, not even an english native speaker. I am not very familiar with chinese platforms, so I don't really know where to look, and there isn't anything that I found about the game's content in English.
