When I talk about heroines like this, I talk about them as tools of a narrative, which would include their relationships with their men because these are otome games. In the very first chapter of the main story, Rosa is preparing for her intermediate lawyer exam, meaning this is now canon across all romance lines with the men. It even gets brought up again in Zuo Ran's Autumn Dreams. ToT prides itself on milestones, as shown by their relationship development, but why is Rosa's career so stagnant then? She's been a junior lawyer for years now. Kiki has been an articling student for years now. Fair enough if the writers don't want to explore this in the romantic lines of the other men, but it would be a great thing to bring up in Zuo Ran's romantic line because it's their shared profession.

As for her being reduced to being the men's light, have you read Lu Jinghe's cards, roughly the ones around Tideborne Romance? He's the biggest offender because you can see the stiff way the writers want to highlight Rosa's importance to him and how it comes at the cost of making Lu Jinghe's relationship with his family sound weird. His family is always praised and their efforts are acknowledged about how they tried to take care of Lu Jinghe after his mother's passing, except he's been so lonely and not seen until Rosa entered his life. I'm not saying this dissonance between the reality of his family and his emotional feelings cannot exist, but the writers don't explore this in detail and brush it under the rug with Rosa's existence in Lu Jinghe's life. Look, at this point I'm not even "reducing" Rosa to her love interest, I'm "reducing" Lu Jinghe to his love interest LOL.

Tears of Themis' greatest flaw is that they're poor at writing romance, especially when compared with the other CN otome games. However, since you're so touchy about me doing comparisons, just look at the difference in quality and focus between ToT's first year and now. The first year was amazing at showing both characters as individuals with different beliefs, but now Rosa revolves around the men more and more in the romance lines.

I neither follow your account nor see the content regarding it but someone brought the issue some time ago about how you talked about mcs in other's games which really falls into misogyny. It was a Convo between you and your oomf where you were pointingout inconsistencies and flaws in tot's writing by saying how "rosa is busy being the light of her men's life" while my mc is already stepping tjhe stones in her career by now. Which does icks me a lot because there's a lot more ways to point out flaws in tot's writing instead of reducing a character to just "busy being the men's light" it's almost as if you are reducing her character down to her male love interest ❓❓❓not to mention that career hierarchy and progress varies A LOT when you compare a lawyer and a fashion designer's career roadmap
