I don’t particularly care about this game and I don’t speak/read Chinese but I found out about this in a Reddit comment LOL. Something about the fandom fights with the Chinese Stardew Valley fandom, new content that was derogatory towards women, removal of female-oriented tag then backtracking of developers. I want the whole tea 

idk personally it takes a lot to move me but it usually gets bottled up and let out in a big meltdown months later.

I’ve been wanting to say this for a while but I really enjoy the way you translate things for light and night, there’s a lot of care and thought put into them and it’s such a sweet thing to share them with an audience that may not be able to understand Chinese etc. I’ve been following you for a while and constantly look back at your old translations for things about Evan or Sariel! I don’t think I would’ve looked much into the game if it wasn’t for your translations because I value writing more over visuals (lol)  so thank you!

How likely is the possibility of both running Tempted Heart at the same time? Since KR already got Round the Clock for whatever reason (LOL). Now that I think about it, KR is really flying through 5ML banners 🫠🫠

genshin controversy over male situation + lds top grossing = players smugly pointing to lds and saying shit like male characters do sell. calling male-dominated games 'coomer games' when lds is at its peak horny phase (like have you SEEN YOUR OWN BANNER??? helloo??????????????? or, fucking hilariously enough even the 1st limited (xav card) literally being shirtless. but okay. the cognitive dissonance is insane.) (oh, and calling genshin 'incel game.')

then when people point out hoyo has their own otome game, they respond that the gameplay is boring and low-effort and bring up lds 3d models + arpg gameplay. like uh. the outlier vs the industry standard?? LBC, LN, ToT all have similar gameplay imo, not my favorite but I don't play otome gachas for gameplay...nobody even brought up story, writing, romance, etc. it's just superiority complex over 3d = quality, 2d = low-effort. 

(not to mention the hilarity of calling hoyo greedy, which yeah I don't really disagree, but praising infold/pg...like as if there weren't outrage and boycotts because of their stingy + greedy behavior in the initial few months.)

(also also, not exactly related to lds but as a bi woman, seeing female characters instantly get the 'must be meant for incels and coomers' reaction makes me want to crawl into a hole and scream.)

Hi I've been following you for a while and you've mentioned before that light and night LIs interact and even get mildly jealous of other. I was wondering how fans reacted to that? Was it well received? I was on the lads subreddit the other day and was surprised to find out how many players disliked the possibility of LIs being slightly jealous of each other. I've heard of a lot of lads CN players not being fond of the LIs interacting but I was surprised for once to see some global players be sorta in agreement when they're usually in disagreement (sometimes bewildered) from the CN players in how they interact with the otome genre. 

I just kinda find it funny when people who claim to be proshippers instantly become antis when ever an m/f ship is mentioned and supposedly gets in the way of the m/m (f/f shippers are typically tied to radfem brainwashing rhetoric but that's another story for a different time)

Shipping anything that has incest, sexual abuse, or anything taboo is all fun and dandy but shipping a man with a woman just crosses the line 

I'm not saying people can't ship whatever they want. I do believe people can play in their imaginary sandbox however they wish. It's just mind boggling that the ~icky het~ is what makes them become a stereotypical misogynistic fujo/ absolutely feral 

Especially if they play something like LaDS, mystic messenger, or other Otomege? That's a het genre? That's even more mind boggling if they hate anything straight

Hello! Thinking for a while I wanted to do something to celebrate his birthday. I was thinking on doing something similar of what you did with the "30 days of propaganda" challenge but I'm not sure if is ok to take it as reference to make a similar one. Maybe you have more ideas of what could be good to do?. I think the normal of what I see is buying a cake and taking merch pictures haha but I don't have any merch of him and his cake is going to be my birthday cake because my birthday falls in the same month. I do think it would be fun to make some sort of challenge and hoping I have time to complete it with my schedule haha.

Personally, I like 3/4 MLs and the other person does too, but they keep casually bringing up how they don’t like one of the MLs EVERY chance they get and it bugs me. Like saying oh I’ll get everybody’s x EXCEPT FOR y character. Or “not me spamming through y’s cards” and posting it in the y-chat?? Like, I don’t care for their favorite character but I keep my mouth shut lmao. Other people’s opinions of the MLs shouldn’t affect me, and I wouldn’t really say it does tbh, but like…man. Learn some etiquette, be fucking respectful tf. It just gets on my nerves sometimes because I’m active in the server, whereas they’re a relatively ‘new’ player (but pretty active) so I’m generally pretty familiar with most of the ‘regulars.’ Sigh. I don’t want to be rude either, they don’t seem to be an asshole, just I guess…not very mature? 🫠

Is there are LN card that clearly states MC & LI are doing something 'spices'? Which card series is it in? And if you have some free time to answer more, I want to ask about which card from each LI that has the deepest impression on you? (could be because it discusses their background or past, or whatever makes you feel they are very precious person)

It helped me a lot to understand a little about what was going on in the game because honestly I've been playing LN since the first half year of its release—just with reckless intentions without understanding anything, because I really liked LN. Pure blind download and play, lol. I'm learning mandarinlittle bit and using a translator app but sometimes I'm too tired that I just miss a lot of things about the story (although to be honest I'm very curious). I started playing recently, trying out the different servers, and I’m a bit confused on how reruns work in LN lol. I dont think I’ve seen solo event cards get reruns, birthdays (??) are a mystery because I’m not sure if I started too late or if there was never a rerun for Charlie’s (or QSL’s) 1st birthday on TW server. I have seen some 4SSRs get reruns (1? 2 year maybe?), and I think I’ve heard anniversary cards get reruns. Oh, wheels gets reruns too (also takes a long time?). Would really appreciate some clarification lol, tysm!! 💛🫶
