I have a lads friend who got curious & wanted to try other games I play, obviously I was happy & welcomed her but dear god what a MISTAKE. This one event I was waiting for MONTHS I tell you because it explores one of my fav characters emotion state as well as huge turning point story. & ^_^ she made it about her fuckass lads li for some reason, everything was "this is sylus" "this is so sylus" "they will make it his 3rd myth iktr" & it just ruined all my fun. Like wow these cannot consume any other media at all for what they are without shoving their lis on it. Maybe its the shitty writing on that game but it's so fucking annoying bro just don't bother anything else if end of day you need AU ideas for your li just go to fucking ao3 or something.

Firstly, thank you very much for providing us with such a comprehensive L&N treasure trove - truly such a bonus for me especially in understanding the lore and world building. For me, the richness, detail and poetry of the writing in the game, the depth of characterisations, the mesmerising soundtrack (4th anni's remain on repeat on my playlist!) are just among the many things that keep me captivated in this universe.

Please correct me if I am wrong, but the main story on the whole is quite sufficient in laying the groundwork in introducing the characters and their backstories. For the most part, the cards are a complement to the story and provide that extra layer of detail and depth that just draws me in (in many cases, even break my heart) even more. 

Still, am I mistaken or it would appear that this is only true for the main story per se, but not so much for the big events with AU, including anniversaries? As a F2P player who, for the first time ever, was very fortunate to be able to get all 5 cards from the 4th anniversary banner, I noticed that while the【来者之路 】event itself was moving and brought me to tears, especially at the end during the final roll call at 常青, the full, heartbreaking story for each character is only available by reading the individual cards. Is this true for every main event? 

Also, I understand that the anniversary banners are re-run. However, has there ever been a situation where these major events are re-run, or at least provided as a DLC similar to TOT? I would love to be able to replay the events again - some of which I regrettably had to rush through at the time.

I wonder if you can fill me in what's the current situation with tlc just keep posting 15 seconds unvoiced birthday video? Been seeing all these.... quirky updates on their weibo, I'm not that update with tlc nowadays since they no longer post any music/audio drama tracks.

Like, are they on limit budget? But that won't explain they're still trying to push up their reputation somewhere with birthday videos without a fix goal for almost 3 years since beta test. I'm kind of glad they still updating, but the silence is so loud. I'm ready to move on if they decided to drop the game entirely, but I hope they keep creating the audio tracks & musics :((

am i the only one who thinks that fandom is so annoying with meal replacement is because it’s their first otome game? they dont know shit about otome so they don’t know what kind of concepts to expect or what’s normal which makes sense. if only they were willing to actually interact and play other games lol. if the average lads player was made to play other otomes they’d drop it so fast in my opinion

when it comes to QY i’ve seen cn fans on rednote say the fact that they like that he’s not this macho manly boss dude. but then u come on twitter and see rafayel mains arguing and disagreeing all the time. god forbid u say he’s flamboyant (when he is esp his eng va)( and i’ve seen cn qy mains call him ‘coquettish’) or feminine. most qy fans i know like the duality. and if you’re queer (im bi myself) god forbid u have headcanons saying that u and ur main r bi4bi. or that qiyu would love mc no matter what bc he doesn’t care about superficial things the way humans do like gender bc he’s a mythical sea creature. like these people always use cn fans to justify their harassment (and i mean cn burner accs creating deepfakes of queer raf mains and doxxing their personal instas im not joking) but from the community on rednote its not like that at all. 

lads is an otome game and the first requirement is a woman mc, nobody denies that and anyone who does shouldn’t be playing an otome. but why go out of your way to harass women, often bisexual and pansexual, who headcanon for the “dignity of cn fans” when twitter is a global app and often used by western fandoms who will not be the same as cn fandom. like genshin is a cn game and yet u dont see people telling others that they cant headcanon bc its chinese game?? i don’t even know why im ranting here i just like the fact that i can basically write an essay here with no limit LOL

Pretty funny how LaDs fandom use TOT Azukisan collab to demand their blorbo to have it too but instead of correcting them that it still fits the men and it won't make them OOC. The fandom decides to take the opportunity to justify wanting to make their blorbo to be OOC instead as if this is the proof of being "open minded" which just heightens the allegations they just don't care about reading their own game and just wants to spend their time on headcanon to be canon. They can keep pulling out their revenue chart but it won't change the fact who their audience is and it is not otome players

the best cope I've seen is that it's expected they go this route for the money but with that logic, doesn't that just mean they see more profit from yumes? after all I was told fujoshi saved shounen manga, they have the financial power to save series! surely this means hoyo would give them more explicit fanservice no? and then they get pissed when another otome game gets made even though they keep saying how their bl ship is totes canon, what's the problem with another otome game? I thought your ship was totes canon, why do you need your own game when you already got your food? I'm sorry but I had a terrible experience with a fujoshi and little things like this make me cackle 😭 I avoid them like the plague because all of them act like it's their way or the highway when it comes to ships. I only trust them if they like otome too because they're also misogynistic and shit on the otome genre and call it "yumeslop". shit pisses me off.

if people wanna function like chinese fandom then why not just stay off of western platforms like twt and use weibo/xhs instead of expecting people to change their fandom culture for u, specifically when the game in question has been localized for GLOBAL AUDIENCES. genshin is also a cn game and altho both sides disagree at times u dont see other global fans pressuring others to act like cn fans. same with the nikki games. same with mysme although it’s korean. i dont know why this is such a phenomenon on otome twt. and its even more eye brow raising when its non chinese people that try to push this on others, like okay cboo.

Idk if it's okay for me to ask this but it makes me curious from the CN side the more I encounter problems regarding those fans. Just how crazy are they really? Are they worse than other company stans? Like in global I keep hearing people refusing to have anything with Tencent and NetEase because they say they're greedier but then I've check out their games and it's... not so bad? Even in stories it's not so bad. 

But I'm seeing how they criticize the games being so ridiculous too like LovePro making Shaw not be a full LI because of said "stealing Gavin away from us" or smth about this ridiculous rumor (it sound so ridiculous I wish I am wrong for hearing this), LaDs being full of idol fans demanding equality but in the same breath they keep yapping that their man is the most unique (the game itself is 3D LovePro based on how they keep recycling). But in recent one I saw from CN Infinity Nikki fans where they demand to not make Nikki get "outshined" by NPCs and then even demanded PG not to let Nikki interact with any NPCs as a means to protect her which now speculates me this could be the reason for the retcon cuz I heard CN Nikki fans celebrated that Giovanni is gone and became unimportant. Honestly, they sound more like abusive mothers that babies Nikki too much and wants to make her anti social, LOL

I am curious tho, have you maybe encounter some problems in CN community? Like are PG stans the worse ones or is it including 10C and NetEase fans? I wanna know cuz just based on my encounters it's more towards PG stans now and worse when PG keeps listening to them. While I hear from NetEase handling For All Time well, Tencent for Light and Night I can't tell yet but I thought they're able to dodge well better than PG in handling the audience 🤔

Hi Ili, I want to ask your personal opinion about LN story writing. I'm sure no writer is perfect, regardless of the strengths and weaknesses of the stories so far, which LI's story writer do you think is the most consistent in terms of quality? It doesn't have to be perfect, but at least most of the story writing for LI can still be considered good and acceptable. It could also be from how much you are impressed by the style of the story telling which is beyond expectations or the writing which can touch your heart. Please don't get me wrong, I love every LI's in LN, but since I still use machine translation (aside from looking at your  thread) I still feel like I'm missing something so I'm afraid the writer intentions and story quality not reach me perfectly :"

I started playing recently, trying out the different servers, and I’m a bit confused on how reruns work in LN lol. I dont think I’ve seen solo event cards get reruns, birthdays (??) are a mystery because I’m not sure if I started too late or if there was never a rerun for Charlie’s (or QSL’s) 1st birthday on TW server. I have seen some 4SSRs get reruns (1? 2 year maybe?), and I think I’ve heard anniversary cards get reruns. Oh, wheels gets reruns too (also takes a long time?). Would really appreciate some clarification lol, tysm!! 💛🫶
